The Supreme Court stood the Nigerian Constitution and democracy on its head. It should be in a hurry to reverse itself. Nigeria cannot afford such judicial arrogance. If Omehia's substitution was improperly done and thus illegal, the fruit of a poisonous tree is never healthy. It is always poisonous. If PDP was arrogant, we do not need the Supreme Court to be more arrogant. The Supreme Court shouldn't even wait for Omehia to petition it for the reversal to occur. There are sufficient cases it should have used to restore democracy to the people of Rivers State in particular and by implication, to the Nigerian people. Anything short is dangerous to a young democracy such as Nigeria is trying to nurture. The longer the Supreme Court waits to right this wrong of the people, the more the ulcer festers. They should know better given the chequered history of Nigeria.

It is high time that FAAN regulates the airlines operating in Nigeria adequately. While I applaud the new financing round for airlines that they put the industry through a few years ago and the current drive to enhance air safety with the technical upgrades they are implementing at our airports, they did not follow this up with an equally strict technical audit of airlines. That is why there still exist airlines utilizing aircraft that should not be in service in Nigeria.

In regards to Dana Airlines' claiming to be "Nigeria’s first new world carrier," this assertion is ludicrous. Dana Air and other similar airlines such as Chachangi, Bellview, and Afrijet should be put under the most stringent technical audits available which would ultimately lead to their operating licenses being revoked UNLESS of course they become financially able to bring in new aircraft into the country. This is the regime that FAAN must enforce in order to provide Nigerians with a world class aviation industry.

As it stands, the only three airlines that should be allowed to operate scheduled flights in Nigeria are: Aero, Arik Air, and Nigerian Eagle.

The only solution to the problems that currently exist in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria is deregulation of the entire industry. That is why the passing of the new Petroleum Industry Bill is imperative to the future economic prospects of the country. Unfortunately, the majority of Nigerians are uneducated as to the revolutionary impacts that deregulation of the industry will have on the proper functioning of this critical sector to the Nigerian economy. Added to this are the inimical efforts of the vested interests including the NLC that continue to frustrate efforts at putting Nigeria's oil and gas sector on a growth path that will improve the overall economy and in the medium term eliminate the continued importation of oil and the flaring of gas.

Borno State Police Command, Some come to Nigeria Police just to have asses to gun. The Police force should stil please be screening people before taking them.Its a pity is not writing on the face .A lady was robeb of her hand set, when offered a military personel lift within Ibadan-Lagos. Gone were the days when people find safety under uniforms.

fuel scarcity That of Abuja is even d worse. some boys have no other things doing they wil stand in front of filling stations that claimed there is no fuel, but sel to them in d nigth,and be selling.law enforcement have to come to our rescue.

thanks for d probe about our sssc exams. i wonder why nigeria student fail in waec, meanwhile other countries that pass tru d same exams can not stand our student acedemically. most parent now reg. their children for foreign exams e.g London G.C.E. etc. while in Nigeria. Most private schools want people to keep on reg; for the exams.

If you are asking for the return of the stolen wealth it means Obasanjo will also go to jail because that is the only reason why EFCC will not ask for the return of the stolen wealth. bode george will not be the only political big wigs that spent the fund, it would involve his godfather OBJ and PDP big wigs in Nigeria. Many children in Nigeria face un timely death, Many are hungry, millions are out of school, to mention the few. only GOD can help us and we should continue to pray. Rebranding Nigeria is a wasting of fund and siphoning of our wealth in a trickish manner if NO Electoral reform. Every one of these wicked policticians will face his or her own tragedy one by one if they refuse to repent. GOD Bless Nigeria and God save our generation in Jesus name. I read in a news paper today about a young Nigerian girl that wanted to commit suicide because she has heard about her deportation to Nigeria. She was afraid of returning to Nigeria because she was not sure of her future , talkless of having a long life in a country like Nigeria where people are dying of avoidable motor accident every minute and ulcer bcos of hunger. Education is too expensive in Nigeria and these people are talking about rebranding. Millions of Nigerians are victims of corruption and wickedness. Every rigged elections can never produce credible leaders, 90% of those in the Senate and Federal House of Reps are product of stolen mandates but they have the power, stolen wealth and alot of thugs deny the justice.

This is a good development, as it will replace the defunct Nigerian Aiway. It could have being better to have call it Eagle Airline. The goal and the target for doing this is the most important issue, if the goal is vividly pursue, the remaining 49% of the ownership can be bought by nigerian investors and the business would proudly be owned by nigerian. To be pesimistic about detail of the beginning of this airline might not be good enough for all business always have a starting point before maintaining the market reputation. Am happy that this little development of my country is coming up in my days and I hope to see this airline flying beyond african air into america, asia, ausralia, and europe.

I am delighted to hear that the strike may be called off today because i have not been able to return back to school due to the fact that the strike was suspended a week ago and if the FG does not comply we student will start returning home again. i really appreciate the effort of the governor of Edo state Comrade Adams Oshoimole.
